Lux Token

Lux is Flux Astromesh's native staking token. Stakers can govern and decide the future of the chain.

Base Denomination​

LUX uses Atto as the base denomination to maintain parity with Ethereum.

1 lux = 1×10⁻¹⁸ LUX

This matches Ethereum's denomination:

1 wei = 1x10⁻¹⁸ ETH

Lux Token Economics (Tokenomics)​

Proof of Stake Security​

The Flux Astromesh PoS blockchain is governed by the native LUX token.

Use cases for the token include but are not limited to gas fees, governance, staking, and dApp value capture.

The initial supply of LUX is 100,000,000 tokens. The supply will increase over time at varied rate through block rewards and inflation factor.

The target LUX inflation is 7% at genesis and will decrease over time to 2%. Gradually, the total supply of LUX may be lower than the initial supply due to the deflationary mechanisms.

Governance​

The LUX token serves as the native governance token for the Flux Astromesh Chain.

LUX is used to govern all aspects of the chain, including: All modules' parameters including both Astromesh & Cosmos native modules. Network upgrades.
